Dr. Aubrey Remmers discovered her interest and passion for medicine growing up with her father, a retired Missoula dermatologist. Although she went to high school in South Dakota, she spent summers in Missoula with her dad and developed a love and appreciation for the community, and always knew she wanted to someday make it her home. After attending college at Creighton University in Omaha, she attended medical school at the University of South Dakota. She completed her residency in Family Medicine in Iowa then joined a practice in Burlington, IA—her husband’s home town. After 8 years in southeast Iowa, they moved back to Missoula to be closer to Aubrey’s family and continue her Family Medicine practice.

 

She loves her job as a family physician as it provides her the opportunity to care for all ages and members of the family; from the baby to the great grandparents. It is the strong connections made with her patients over the years that have been so meaningful to her. Dr. Remmers provides full scope of family medicine from newborn, pediatric and adolescent care to geriatric care. She also enjoys caring for women of all ages and stages of their lives. Dr. Remmers has special interests in health, fitness and weight management. She received her board certification in Obesity Medicine in 2025. 

 

Dr. Remmers enjoys reading, hiking, cooking, and exploring the beautiful Montana outdoors. Dr. Remmers is married with two daughters. As a family they love to travel, watch sporting events, hike with their dog and take countless photos of their cats.
